Eric Levine, Performing Arts Director

“Mr. Eric” has been the music teacher at JAO for 15 years. He is also the director of the JAO Theater Program.  All of JAO’s shows have a very high production value and are similar to what you might see at a large performing arts school. Mr. Eric is always trying to give our students the grandest experience possible, something that will capture their hearts and will inspire them to continue studying theater in middle and high school.

Mr. Eric is also an accomplished pianist.  He's comfortable performing any style of music, from Bach to Journey. He studied Piano Performance at Florida State University and also studied Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. While at Florida State, Mr. Eric worked closely with the prestigious FSU College of Motion Picture Arts and composed music for several of their student films, one of which won a Student Emmy Award.

Mr. Eric’s favorite hobby is traveling the world. He's been to over 50 countries, many of them multiple times. Visiting the world’s great symphony halls, opera houses, and composer homes is one of his life passions.
