Bio

I am originally from the Philadelphia area and graduated from Tyler School of Art with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Art Education.  I received my Master’s degree in Art Therapy from New York University. I taught and worked in many different settings as an art teacher, art therapist, and Judaic Studies and Hebrew teacher. My husband and I moved to Orlando in February 2017, longing to return to Florida after being away from the area for 12 years.

Prior to moving to Orlando, I was the art teacher at Hebrew Day School in Ann Arbor and the Assistant to the Director of Education at Beth Israel Congregation in Ann Arbor, MI. In addition, I was the art teacher at the Ruth and Raymond Perelman Jewish Day School in the Philadelphia area for seven years and the art teacher at the Hillel Day School in Tampa, Florida for 5 years.  I enjoyed spending summers with my children at Camp Ramah Darom in Clayton, Georgia, as an art specialist.  Prior to that I worked in day treatment centers and other mental health facilities as an art therapist.

It is my love for art, teaching, and Judaism that guides me in planning and creating an exciting, fun, and enriching environment that will foster creativity.
