The differentiated learning is a key element to providing a superior education to each and every student. Every child is challenged at their own level in several subjects which allows them to thrive in an environment nurturing individuality, rather than expecting the same standard regardless of the individual. The faculty has immense knowledge in a variety of learning styles to better meet the individual needs of each student. They truly get to know each student and understand how to best support each and every one. We know that the students at JAO are getting the best of the best educators and I only wish that all children were so lucky. The guidance and care and expertise that goes into each day is exceptional. I can’t state enough how beyond satisfied we have been with our experience at JAO. Our middle schooler even comes for Shabbat before her own school begins on most Fridays. It is a truly magical place that will forever reside in the heart of every JAO family.

I am so grateful for the opportunity my daughter has at JAO. Even without being at school she is able to interact with her teachers and stay in touch with her classmates. It is amazing how the faculty was able to work together to continue to provide an excellent academic experience without missing a beat.

During these scary and challenging times, JAO never missed a beat and has been there each and every day for the children and their families.
From the very first day of remote learning, the children were right back into their regular routine, watching the WJAO morning news, meeting with teachers and greeting their peers.

The teachers created an amazing at home curriculum for the children following with the schools beliefs of academic excellence and Jewish tradition and values. The teachers and support staff have been wonderful through this transition to remote learning. My family and I are so grateful for all that JAO does, stands for and teaches.

Tomorrow is the first day of our spring break. We had a mini spring break just before the quarantine started from 3/13-3/15, which got extended only 1 extra day for the staff and teachers to get distance learning up and running. There have been a few glitches here and there but overall it has been amazing! For the last 3 1/2 weeks Collette has been completely engaged in all aspects of school. She has had meetings daily with all of her teachers and administrators, special events, appropriate amounts of school work that has allowed us to keep her busy and learning throughout the entire day without overwhelming her or us, she has had opportunities to video chat with her friends, have physical, mental, and artistic challenges, and she's had an outlet to discuss her fears, questions, and concerns about everything going on around her. The best part is that in 3 1/2 weeks I have never once heard either of the kids say they were bored- not a single time!

Tomorrow we start spring break, and just as I was getting nervous about how we would keep the kids busy and entertained for 10 days we got an email that the Head of School is going to do live story telling or children's services every day of spring break to continue giving the kids access and engagement!Jewish Academy of Orlando- to say we are impressed and grateful for everything you have done so far and continue to do is an understatement. Thank you, so much!
